We live in crazy times. If someone told me ten years ago that in 2008 we'd have a cyclocross bike being piloted into the air by a cross-country rider in TLD dh shorts on the cover of FreeWheel, and a significant number of pages within dedicated to fixie/single speed bikes, I would have laughed in their face. Yet here it is, FreeWheel 33, fixies next to cross bikes, next to Olympic campaigners, next to freeriders in Costa Rica. A diverse issue to be sure, but just another attempt to record what it it means to be a rider who loves mountain bikes in 2008.	Enduro 8 has hit the shelves packed full of reasons to hit up the trails. We interview international endurance guru and '07 World Solo 24hr Champ Tinker Juarez to find out about his life on the the race circuit and, at home, and his plans for the future, We go on a four day tour of the Canary Islands to learn all about the new Cannondale Rize and this island's under-rated mountain bike trails. We also check out big time international races in New Zealand, Costa Rica and the U.S and have a chat with Crank Brothers, the guys behind the ingenious Egg Beater pedals.
